The first ALL-WOMEN GLOBAL CYBER GAME TOURNAMENT allows players to practice games and challenges during the preseason. Teams will then compete in a virtual qualifying event in mid-March. The top 6 teams will be invited to participate in the live-streamed Wicked6 Tournament in March.

HTB Hacking Battlegrounds is a gamified approach to attack and defense where players can play one against the other at a limited time.

Vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and weaknesses mainly the focus is on OWASP top10 and the latest CVEs.
Battlegrounds is good practice/training for purple teamers as players need also to patch the vulnerabilities.
Speed is very important thus skills must be combined with accuracy and mindset.
Most boxes are easy and players are learning the importance of speed, especially in defense when time is crucial for operations.

FAQs

How many players per team?

Teams should include at least 5-8 players and identify a captain. Captains are responsible for registering for games provided during season on behalf of the team. They organize meet ups and ensure all vital data is provided to PlayCyber and that the players are aware of rules and requirements (such as reading and signing Code of Conduct).

What happens if I register as a Free Agent?

Your name will be added to a free agent pool. Teams with open spots will reach out to see if you would like to be added to their team. If no team is available, depending on pool of free agents will be formed into a new team.

What will preseason consist of?

There is no formal training provided as part of this program. Players are expected to self-form, meet periodically, and practice with provided challenges. We will provide monthly mentors to help with particular topics. This program is specifically designed to help NEW teams form.
